I had a dream last night that I was a hostage, along with other kids who were part of my class. It was fucking scary because it felt so real.

The hostages were taking our phones and searching us for any other weapons etc.

According to the dream interpretation dictionary;

Hostage;

To dream that you are a hostage indicates that you are feeling victimized or powerless. You feel limited in your choices or physically immobilized. Perhaps this dream is paralleling some situation/difficulties in your daily life or relationship. Alternatively, to dream that you are a hostage suggests that a part of yourself is not fully expressed.

Seems about right.

I’m making it a personal mission to find the good people out there.

I know there are some left.

I’ve about had it with people. So tired of people treating me with anything less than the respect I deserve. I’ve been there for people who are never there for me. I forgive people who have intentionally hurt me. I have accepted every person and their flaws, yet at the end of the day…or shall I say, at the beginning of the day, here I am. Alone and disgusted with people in general.

I keep having these dreams, every night. Every single night. I’m never happy in them. I always wake up wondering why I keep dreaming about this….and then I fall back to sleep in hope that I will dream about something peaceful.

And then I wake up. Even more sad than I was before I fell asleep.
